The journey of the Collective Uplifting Initiative began with a simple yet powerful conversation between two passionate individuals: Brandon Lester and Eric Francis. For 18 months, they shared their dreams and aspirations, envisioning a nonprofit charity that would make a tangible difference in their community. Their commitment to uplifting others led them to finally take the leap in April 2025, transforming their vision into a reality.
Before launching the initiative, Brandon and Eric were already deeply engaged in their community, dedicating their time and resources to support local high school sports teams. They provided snacks and meals for athletes, understanding that nourishment plays a crucial role in both performance and camaraderie. However, they felt a calling to expand their impact beyond this initial effort and create a more structured way to support those in need.
